Stadtmuseum Aargau - Robot Animation

For the Stadmuseum Aargaus exhibition „ROBOZÄN – Neue Zeiten für Industrie, Arbeit und Konsum“ I had the possibility to rig and animate an industrial robot who starts questioning his purpose.

Velvet approached me with the concept and together we decided to create multiple seperate animations which could be combined flexibly so their agency could freely fit them to the final voice recordings of the character.

The final result was a 12 minute loop of the robot working with different monologues intertwining the animation which were supported by special gestures of the character.

The clip was projected onto the walls of the museum and played in a loop.
